About This Blog

WELCOME!

Most of these studies were originally put together for inmates in a Bible study program at a local jail. This blog is a collection of Bible studies that have been prayerfully composed and added for their use, and now, your use in the pursuit of Jesus. These studies have been designed to be used in a one hour study and discussion format. These have been posted for discussion and study purposes.

This blog is about building your relationship with Jesus through study of The Word of God. As He says in  (James 4:8a) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. He also tells us in (James 1:5) that if any man lacks wisdom to ask God and it will be given him without fault finding. God wants to meet us where we are, and teach us!

The original author is the Holy Spirit.. I may also post questions that I or others may have in the “Thoughts / Questions” page on subjects related to Christ.
ALWAYS test the spirit (1 John 4:1). Do this with me, your pastor's sermons, as well as everything else you read and hear.

The initial audience of these studies, for the most part did not know the Lord. If that is you, I praise God you’re here. One can start with the initial studies and then move to deeper more advanced studies, using the same Scripture references, as well as parallel references using the provided links, if necessary, as you progress.

That’s how the Holy Spirit teaches – "precept upon precept, line upon line" (Isaiah 28:13). With the study tools provided, these Bible Studies can be easily adapted for your study purposes - personal or group. These studies are a great starting point to study ancient truths.

To that end, many links to study tools and general information have been added. Many of the sites have vast study links within them also. With these resources I am confident a comprehensive study can be made. Keep in mind however there is much more information available.NEVER forget - we are learning and studying about an infinite God. Although information about Him is limitless, revelation can and does come from only one place - The Holy Spirit.

I try to post new studies twice a week. In the event that you go to the site and the content is not fresh to you, fear not, it will be updated. In the event that it hasn't yet, on the left side of the page toward the top of the body of the post itself you have access to every post ever made. Simply find a study that is new to you.

The Word of God has many levels. Our understanding depends on the level of understanding that we have at that time. So as we learn more, The Holy Spirit can reveal more to us. So if you already have seen a post, look at it again through new spiritual eyes - or simply find another study post on this site.

Please post your questions or comments in the "comments" box after each post. You may also email me at: wingstruth@yahoo.com.com Your comments and questions are more than welcome. By commenting, I, as well as the community of readers of this blog will greatly benefit - so please comment! Also, please follow this blog. By following, you will automatically be notified of new content.

My prayer is that with the help of the Holy Spirit, this site will be a blessing to all who use it to seek Him.
